C.C.L.N. Recap & Link Party Features

I have to say this was such a fun Crafty Crafty Ladies Night! I had a full house, a ton of Mod Podge in use, sugar, laughter and some adorable projects! 

Not everyone finished their projects, including me (having too much fun chatting I think!) But there were a few quick crafts I was able to snap pics of! 

Emily made her 1st Mod Podge frame ever! (I actually had 4 Mod Podge virgins here Saturday!)

Didn't her frame turn out so adorable!

Kathryn covered a composition book! So pretty! I love the colors and ribbon placement on each project!

Denise from {Wallflower Grown Wild} and Ashley from {Cute as a Fox} were also in attendance and although they were working on some great projects I am not going to post pics and you'll have to wait till they post the final projects on their blogs- trust me, they are just that good!!!

And now a BIG THANK YOU to those of you that linked up for my first link party! It was fun to see the themed projects link up and I think I'll definitely do it again for June's C.C.L.N. (Not sure the theme yet!)

And how cute is this framed button art from {Mod Podge Rocks} I have some Dollar Tree frames waiting for a paint makeover but have no idea what I'm putting in them...this just might be it!

And lastly I think these bottle cap checkers from {The Handy Hausfrau} are so cool. I see a gift project with these in the future for my dad!

I am so excited to be hosting my first link party! I love hosting C.C.L.N each month in my home and think it's so cool that I have this way to invite all my followers and hopefully some new friends to come join in the fun!

Crafty Crafty Ladies Night: Mod Podge May & Link Party

Alright my local crafty friends! Next week is the 1st Saturday in May already...can you belive it!?!

Regardless of how fast this year is flying by, the first Saturday means: Crafty Crafty Ladies Night!

For May we are doing all things Mod Podge!

I'll provide the Mod & Brushes you bring whatever you want to make!

I'll also have unfinished wood frames, sand paper & some scrapbook paper. I'll also hit up Ross for cheap word signs like this little pretty I'll be making all fancy! ( I think I got it for 3 bucks!)

Craft Crafty Ladies Night - April

Yes, so I have 100% dropped the ball on CCLN for next month. With the 1st Saturday being General Conference and Easter I knew we had to move the date. Then with some personal things going on later that month I was a little overwhelmed in planning it. But I wouldn't let myslef just skip it for the month so FINALLY I have made some decisions!

Jewelry Holder Pics....Finally!

Ok so I  finally  hung up my awesome jewelry holder we made at Feb. CCLN! I had tried to hang it with command picture hangers a while back but it just wouldn't stick to my wall...weird. Then on a daily random trip to Hobby Lobby I came across this awesome ribbon and thought It's PERFECT!

(I did end up using one command hanger for the bottom of the frame to keep it from wiggling...
who knew I just had to wash the wall and it'd stick like glue! Oh well this ended up way cuter!)

March Crafty Crafty Update: PLEASE READ

Ok Ladies, I purchased everything for March's Craft Night except the frames and glass. There were so many frame choices and price differences I couldn't make that decision for everyone! Also I know a few of you wanted to purchase you're own for style reasons etc.

So everyone will need to bring with them:

1 8x10 Picture

1 8x10 Document (If not using Proclamation)

18x24 Frame

18x24 Addional Piece of Glass 

(I have everything else including several ribbon choices if you prefer something other than black)

Michaels and Hobby Lobby have frames 50% off right now.
Personally I think Hobby Lobby has a better selection and they are 10-15 dollars cheaper!

March Crafty Crafty Ladies Night

Ok Ladies, if you are interested in March's Crafty I need to know asap! There is a lot more for me to get ready for this one including some personalized vinal lettering and custom cut glass. Please click on the tutorial below to see the craft we will be doing. All you need to bring is an 8x10 picture, I will provide everything else. (If you would like something other than the Proclamation to the Family please bring that too...Poem, Family Motto, Another Picture?) Alright ladies, I am finally organized for craft night. Yes I realise it's short notice but the first Crafty Crafty Ladies Night will be Saturday Feb. 6th, 2009. (Yes THIS Saturday!)
